Breif

 The brief for this project was to create a comic for a story/script that was made. This is a paid commission and ties in really nicely with the main part of my unit- X project because of the design style I plan to incorporate in them both. 

The style that I plan to recreate within this project is similar to a style I’ve worked on before which was about a Roman soldier Sempronius Densus and his heroic defence of the emperor. The style I implemented was the aesthetic of a Greek urn with the black and orange details. I really liked bringing the aesthetic of the period to the story and thought it made it more relevant. 

Below is the script that I was given to make the comic for. I have annotated it with ideas of how I can make the comic reflect the metaphors within the script. The concept is spiders vs cockroaches which has been written in the style of a Homeric Greek legend. As a result I will be utilising a similar style to my last Homeric legend.
